Kia Ora, my name is Hope. I am New Zealand born and have been living in Australia since I was 17 years old. I made the career change from childcare into dentistry two years ago and haven’t looked back. Vanessa and her team have encouraged and scaffolded my learning as a Dental Assistant especially since the career change was such a big change from what I was used too.
The most rewarding parts of my job are being a part of a patient’s confidence to smile again, including myself. I’ve found that I’ve learnt so much more about the general side of oral hygiene and have used, my growing knowledge to properly educate those around me. I look forward to meeting you when you next visit Dental on Louise.
